Swimming Pool Maintenance In Kent and Sussex
Nothing compares with diving into blue, crystal clear water that is maintained at hygienically perfect conditions throughout the summer, to do this consistent pool water care is essential, if nothing is done than your pool will turn cloudy and unpleasant as water is an ideal breeding ground for algae and bacteria.
Without disinfection bacteria will grow and algae will turn the water green and incorrect PH can cause skin irritation and will reduce the efficiency of the disinfectant. The PH needs to be maintained between 7.2 and 7.5.
Water will need to have a disinfectant added either manually or automatically, you can use either chlorine, bromine or active oxygen. We can advise you what is best sanitizer for your pool.
Finally the filter will need to be back washed on a weekly basis or cleaned if a cartridge filter is used.
This all sounds complicated and time consuming but is quite quick and easy, on average pool water treatment takes 10-15 minutes a week and soon becomes a matter of routine.
